Lab tour – morning (10am-12am)
A quick tour of the laboratory for translational breast cancer research (LTBCR, headed by Prof. Desmedt) will be organized for the patient advocates. In addition, main core facilities of the UZ/KU Leuven Campus will be presented.
Walking tours – evening (6:30pm-8pm)
As part of our conference experience, we’re excited to offer all participants a complimentary walking tour of this charming Belgian city. Immerse yourself in the rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture of Leuven while getting to know your fellow attendees in a relaxed and active setting. You can choose between two options:
- 3km Walking Tour: Explore the highlights of Leuven in a leisurely 1.5-hour stroll.
- 5km Walking Tour (including Heverlee): Extend your adventure to include Heverlee and Arenberg.
Please note that dinner afterwards is not included. However, Leuven offers an array of delightful restaurants and cafes where you can continue your adventure and socialize with newfound friends from the tour.

We will close the first day of our symposium by a warm gathering at the Troubadour restaurant (https://www.troubadour.be/) located in the historical centre of Leuven.
